The RULES

  • - All Tournament Participants MUST be registered with the NJ Saltwater Registry and present their Saltwater Registry at the time of the event!


  • - The Only Elligible fish to submit for this tournament is Striped Bass! This tournament is Catch and Release! We are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ANGLERS KEEPING ANY FISH we are strictly Catch and Release Only.


  • - Every fish caught during the tournament needs to have a video recording of the fish being caught submitted to the tournament's facebook page with the angler's face clearly shown in the video and the fish being reeled up out of the water. The video has to start BEFORE the fish gets on the boat.


  • - Anglers are REQUIRED to fish by the CURRENT New Jersey State Regulations. Angler's are required to keep up to date with the current saltwater fishing guidelines and regulations. NJ CONSERVATION POLICE WILL BE PRESENT IN THE AREA DURING THIS TOURNAMENT!


  • - Once an angler has caught a fish that they wish to submit, and their video is submitted to the tournament facebook page successfully, you have an hour from the time that you caught the fish to return to the dock, otherwise it's a DQ.


  • - No 2 boats (or any number of boats) are allowed to be together within 20ft of each other on the water when the tournament is underway, otherwise they are both immediately DQ'd.


  • - Boats are NOT allowed to share anything during the tournament whether it be food, equipment, etc. Otherwise it's an instant DQ for both boats.


  • - Boats are NOT allowed to come into contact with buoys or traps in the water, any such interaction is an instant DQ.


  • - Live bait and plugs are allowed within current state regulations.


  • - Once all of the boats have left the dock at the start of the tournament, you are NOT allowed to return to the dock until you have submitted your fish onto the facebook page. Likewise, you are NOT allowed to anchor/park up on ANY dock/piling/marsh/piece of land. This is a boat fishing tournament, you are not allowed to step off of the boat until you have returned to the dock after submitting your fish to the facebook page.


  • - Judges are allowed to board your boat ANYTIME during the tournament to inspect and make sure everything is straight and the rules are being followed. Any sort of PROTEST or ARGUMENT with the judges will result in a DQ at the discretion of the Judges/Tournament Coordinators. JUDGES HAVE FINAL SAY OVER ALL DECISIONS!


  • - MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY PER BOAT IS 3 PERSONS. NO MORE THAN 3 PERSONS SHALL BE ON A PARTICIPATING BOAT AT A TIME UNLESS THEY ARE BEING INSPECTED BY THE TOURNAMENT JUDGES!


  • - WE ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL VESSELS HAVE THEIR BOAT INFORMATION CARD AND THAT ALL HANDS HAVE THEIR SALTWATER REGISTRY CARD!


  • - GAFF/TREBLES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED! THIS IS A CATCH AND RELEASE TOURNAMENT! YOU'LL HAVE TO NET YOUR FISH!


  • - The Winner of the Tournament will be the boat that catches the longest fish in the fastest time! VIDEO DEMO COMING SOON!
